Maritime Centre of Excellence (MCE) was inaugurated on 12 December 2019 during Maritime Security Workshop 2019 at Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore. It is part of Pakistan Navy's greater efforts to jump start Maritime Sector in Pakistan. MCE has been established to act as an intellectual fountainhead on Maritime matters with focus on Maritime Security and Blue Economy while concurrently, rendering input to policy makers for promoting Maritime sector in-country and abroad and preparing Naval leadership for contemporary Maritime challenges.
